A mailing address does not always identify the department responsible for a building project. Incorporated communities and unincorporated county areas can have different review paths. Confirm the property's jurisdiction before relying on a permit checklist or guidance from a neighboring area.

Choose a service, then describe the site.

For remodeling, identify the rooms, existing layout and changes you want. For an addition, ADU or RV garage, describe the intended use and any site records available.
